The Dark Moon arrives in Leo on Sunday, July 23rd, 05:01 AM (CST), and it promises to be a doozy! For more on the astro-weather contribution, visit Ruby’s Readings for the full scoop on roaring Leo, and how best to tame him (or at least not get eaten!).

If you have been following this blog (or any other for that matter) you are more than aware, “SOMEthing is up!” Many things are happening all at once; the conflicting go-away-closer-hurry-up-and-wait energy can be just as frustrating as it is empowering, draining as it is exhilarating. This energy must be managed, and patience is definitely required. Let’s look at the cards:

We open with The High Priestess, and we close with Eight of Wands; everything you need to move forward is within you, and as you engage your talents you will find things are really starting to happen – much of it in your favor – and you can make the most of it! Here’s how:

  • Ace of Wands brings a boost of power to our driving passions; do not hesitate – this is fast-acting energy and it will not linger!
  • Five of Pentacles reminds us that while some struggle is inevitable, it will not last forever (despite how it may feel in the moment), and we are not as alone as we feel.
  • Eight of Cups reveals the importance of priorities; you may love everything you have but do you have everything you need? Take a quick inventory; recognize what’s good, what’s taking up space,  and what’s needed – decide to make the changes to fill in the missing pieces.
  • Queen of Swords issues a statement: “I am a wise woman, powerful and in control.” There is no subtext here – you’ve got what it takes to get the job done, so off you go! Get to it!!

Difficult as it seems, you’ve got this. As the Dark Moon rises, we intentionally plant seeds for new beginnings, and we offer thanks for new growth already in progress around us.

Be happy, safe, and well. Blessed be all.
