The Full Corn Moon is upon us!!!

We all know what this means; the Summer is dwindling down, and there is still a great deal to do before the kids go back to school – all very mundane, all very familiar…….

NOT THIS AUGUST!!!!

As we know, this August is chockful of intense astro-weather and energy (see Ruby’s Readings for more on that!) including this full moon AND a lunar eclipse – SHEESH!!

HOW WILL YOU USE THE ENERGY?????

The time could not be better for starting new projects for yourself! Take a class, join a gym, change your eating, start a hobby – whatever you want to do to benefit you, your growth, your path – NOW IS THE TIME!!!

ALL THINGS HAVE A TIME AND PLACE – THIS IS YOURS!

If the energy feels more difficult to manage than usual, it is not in your imagination; empathy is heightened under this confluence of conditions, and you may struggle to deal with them:

  • If you are not accustomed to dealing with this kind of energy, you may find people annoying or “uncooperative” in their unwillingness (inability?) to follow your thinking; this energy makes it difficult to keep thoughts and communication clear as there is some fuzziness around the edges. POSSIBLE SOLUTION: Be patient, write it down.
  • If you are an empath by nature, you will find this August particularly difficult and may suffer from a degree of empathic overwhelm. This can manifest in minor discomforts such as trouble sleeping at night, or difficulty concentrating on mundane tasks during the day. In more severe cases, it can include overpowering feelings of despair, and the certainty others are “against you.” POSSIBLE SOLUTION: Be diligent in your self-care; this is VERY important and not at all selfish – you cannot pour from an empty cup.
