Selene’s Full Moon graces us October 24th, 11:59 AM CST.

((The Spellcaster’s Tarot, Marquis and Murphy. Left to right, top to bottom: Nine of Cups, Seven of Cups, Ten of Cups, Seven of Wands, Queen of Pentacles, Hermit.))
As the year winds down, and The Wheel keeps turning, we see things are changing around us in a myriad of ways; weather, seasons, politics, relationships – some for the better, some for the worse, some for the better again. With or without our consent, everything changes.
When the Hunter’s Moon (also known as Barley Moon) arrives, we will have an opportunity to give our thanks, celebrate our blessings and good fortune (look at the first row of cards – all cups, all wishes fulfilled, no wrong choices, everyone delighted). We will also have an opportunity to look ahead:
- What’s next?
- Where are you headed?
- Where is your path leading?
Moving forward, you will find yourself on your own, keeping your own counsel, preferring your own company (not because you don’t love your tribe) as you navigate your own way. Last week’s Six of Swords announced our need to begin our solo journey, here we see The Hermit well on his way.
We know how important it is to live in the moment; we must also remember everything can change in the blink of an eye. Don’t just live in the moment, appreciate it, learn from it, and enjoy it to the fullest.
