Just a gentle reminder: Wars are fought by everyone, not just the soldiers.

Please take a moment this weekend to remember the accomplishments of all those who came before us, prepared to sacrifice anything and everything to keep us safe and free. Despite how we have been taught, those sacrifices were not limited to the men of the fox holes or front lines – women worked, rationed, fought, and risked as much or more as any man in a uniform.

Honor all by remembering with gratitude and awe.
