This morning on my way to work, I was listening to what in my opinion is one of the best records I have ever heard “The Heroin Diaries” by SIXX:AM. I have listened to this album probably 2 times a week since its release in 2007.  As the opening riff of the radio single “Life is Beautiful” burst forth from the speakers in my car the lyrics struck me in a way they never had before. I am in the midst of a real LIFE change, I am approaching my 45th birthday and I am struck by the feeling of..”is this it?” but more importantly, the desire to WANT MORE. The opening verse really sums up well, where my path is beginning to lead:
