The Dark Moon returns to us on May 15th, 7AM CST.

We find ourselves in a the middle of May, Spring more than half over, Summer rapidly approaching, and the energy of the astro-weather feels rather like a tiny boat tossed on an angry sea. SHEESH – what to do?

Time to re-group! Pull your self together and get a moving!

Let’s look at the cards:

JUSTICE (or as I call her, Karma): What goes around comes around; sometimes it moves so slowly, it may as well be standing still but NOT THIS TIME! John Lennon said it best, Instant Karma is going to get you! This is not all bad; this is a good opportunity to look at what you have been doing, and make appropriate changes. No more stalling or excuses tolerated.

SEVEN OF CUPS WITH FIVE OF SWORDS: Just too many choices? STOP OVERTHINKING IT!! This is the perfect moment to follow your heart; choose what feels most right, most real, most “you.” If you do that, it cannot be wrong. Mental chaos abounds; your thoughts are disorganized, attacking from all directions. It is time to get organized; write your thoughts down – keep what you can use, strike off what you can’t, and decide how to pursue what you have chosen. 

EIGHT OF PENTACLES: You will see your hard work pays off quickly once you are on the right track. Diligence and attention to detail will be your best weapons moving forward.

KNIGHT OF PENTACLES AND KING OF SWORDS: Slow and steady will win this race; keep a cool head and rely on well-earned experience (your own as well as others’) – there is no good reason to reinvent the wheel again, and again, and again.

This Dark Moon requires sincere focus to set intentions. Think them through, know EXACTLY what it is you want to manifest. Write your intentions on a clean sheet of paper (looses leaf or in a journal – your call, consider using green ink for growth)), speak them aloud to the Dark Moon, humbly requesting the pathway be well-lit and smoothed over. (Never hurts to ask. 😉 )  

Be happy, safe and well under Hecate’s Dark Moon as she covers you with her protective blanket of darkness, shielding you from the prying eyes of your detractors. In the profound darkness, she will impart the wisdom of the ages…will you be still enough to listen?
