SEASONS GREETINGS, WATER BABIES! 

IMBOLC IS UPON US, AND SPRING MUST SURELY BE ON THE WAY!

How are you preparing for the approaching Spring?

• Collecting cocktail recipes?
• Planning Ostara (Easter) events?
• Drinking more water?

As you plan for the arrival of Spring, speak of joyful memories – even if you are only speaking out loud to yourself – to give them life in the moment, recall happiness, and appreciate how far you have come (some joyful stories have an element of naivete delightful in a child but happy released as an adult). All joyful sounds have value – keep it positive! (This NOT the time for darker, or hurtful memories – that work is for another time).

ORACLE: Higher Power. We are plugged-in this month so pay attention to all downloads, signs, synchronicities, etc.  The messages will be coming in fast and furious this February, and it goes without saying we are going to miss some of them. That’s okay – there will be plenty more where they came from!

CANCER: The Devil. Temptation is high for you this month, my crabby ones! Be careful not to fall into old patterns, over-indulgences, or betrayals (starting with yourself!). This will not be easy – everything will be extra intriguing, illicit, and fattening this February – but if you give in, you will certainly find yourself sorry for it. Spare yourself – and everyone else – just steer clear this month.

SCORPIO: Eight of Swords. Feeling stuck? Of course you are! Change is in the air but you are always so reluctant to let anything go, you can’t move forward as you might like. Do yourself (and everyone else, really) a big favor, take a page out of the Aries book, and set fire to that old baggage holding you back. Surf your tidal wave free and clear into Spring! COWABUNGA!!! (You can thank me later.)

PISCES: The Empress. The time has come, the Walrus said, to talk of many things…and he was right! Whatever you’re dreaming, wishing, hoping, imagining, creating for yourself is all very real this month as your manifestations are cranked up to 11. If ever there was a time to be careful what you wish for, this is it! Be mindful. Every thought, word, and deed is a manifestation message to The Universe right now – you are so much more powerful than you realize – use it wisely.

• Prepping for yard/garden work?
• Opening windows to air out the house?

Whatever you think is important to welcome the new season, do it to music. Make a joyful noise with your favorite album, radio station, or CD – and turn the volume up! In addition to chasing away any entities lurking around, it will increase your own joy and lighten your February mood. 

ORACLE: Mending. Forgiveness and healing will be needed this month – time to let go of all the old stuff holding you down. Remember, it ran in your family until it ran into you; you can heal yourself, and everyone around you, by choosing forgiveness. It is a great responsibility but it brings a great reward, and is well worth the effort. 

GEMINI: The Tower. Like it or not, chaos is on the way and this time, it is not your own choosing. The test will be how you decide to handle it. You do not need to be told to think it through but you should be warned – do not think it to death. Chaos is swiftly moving, and will not slow done to wait for your decision-making. 

LIBRA: High Priestess. Decision-making will be less about thinking and more about feeling this month; go within, trust your intuition. Be brave – you’ve go this!

AQUARIUS: Four of Wands. Celebrate your life, love, success and happiness this month. If you have a birthday in February, throw a party, surround yourself with friends, share your joy!

How are you preparing for the approaching Spring?

• Washing all the blankets and bedding?
• Restocking your pantry?
• Planning lighter soups, salads, and fruity desserts?

However you prep for the upcoming change of season, dance around while you do it – this is a good time to add joyous movement to your work. Cultivating joy is important this month, and every little bit helps!

ORACLE: HAPPY HAPPY! Overall, all is well this month – take a good look at your actual life (not an inventory of what is missing but an appreciation of all the blessings and magic present), and smile. Appreciate small things (chirping birds) as well as big things (your health, the safety of your family), and share your smile with everyone you meet – it is  more contagious than the corona virus!

TAURUS: King of Pentacles. Energetic Leadership is called for this month – do not be shy, lazy, or falsely humble – so get right to it! People are counting on you (though they may not be saying it out loud), and this is definitely your opportunity to shine. Roll up your sleeves!

VIRGO: Four of Wands. Maintain stability as Winter draws to its close; your warm hearth, heart, and hands are needed and appreciated as we move into Spring light. CAUTION: Unexpected pregnancies are likely at this time – if you do not want to have a baby, take the proper precautions.

CAPRICORN: High Priestess. Whatever it is, seek within yourself first. You know more than you think. You are capable of more than you know. Some faith is required.

How are you preparing for the approaching Spring?

• De-cluttering?
• Deep cleaning?
• Re-organizing?

Whatever your prep, be sure to whistle while you work in joy of the approaching change of season. Joy will be the key to a successful February.

ORACLE: Tick Tock! Like it or not, Divine Timing is always at work; The Universe does not make mistakes, and always delivers for the greatest good, even when we don’t realize it. This is not a time to be impatient, you will need to go with the flow this month.

ARIES: The Tower. Keep your eyes open for change this month – it will land suddenly and bring chaos with it – as your true test will be in how you choose to handle the upheaval. This is not a time for panic, or obstinance. 

LEO: The Emperor. Time to step up! If you have been coasting in your comfortable rut, this is your wake up call. The only thing stopping you is acquired laziness – shake it off,  get to work.

SAGITTARIUS: Four of Cups. Contemplation is the key this month. If you are usually capricious, take a step back – it will not serve you at this time. Think it through but make no mistake, you must act as well. Remember, not choosing is also a choice, and that will not serve you, either.
